- Membership is personal and binding to the Member and is non-assignable, non-transferable and non-refundable. A Member may not loan his/her Membership to be used by anyone. The Company may assign the benefit of the membership to any person, firm or company at any time without prior notice and consent to the Members.
- Membership is only considered valid once all required membership details have been clearly entered into and/or attached to the membership agreement (“Membership Agreement”). The member is required to inform the club in writing in the event of any change of information. The Management may temporarily suspend a membership in the event of any missing information/documentation.
- The new membership and membership transfer are subject to approval of Management. The Management reserves the right to reject an application for Membership to the Club for any reason whatsoever.
- Any member wishing to enter the club without a valid membership card will only be admitted at the absolute discretion of the Management.
- Upon acceptance, the Member will be issued with a Membership card (which shall remain the property of the Company) and the Member shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges exercisable by the class of Membership for which his/her application has been accepted. If a Membership card is lost or broken, the Management issue a replacement card at an additional cost due to Fitness First needs to reprogram the security code on the new card and reimburse the existing administration fees.
- Memberships are transferable only in exceptional circumstances. An administration fee will apply for such transfers. The new member accepting the transferred membership is required to pay the monthly dues current at the time of transfer. The new member will not receive a gym bag or Take Action session.
- The facilities provided by Fitness First are exclusive for Member only. If a Member wants to bring another party who is not a member (“Guest”), a Guest fee will be charged in accordance with the provisions set by the Company and/or Management;
- Membership Categories:
- Home: The member can only enter and use his/her Home Club
- Premium Passport: The member can enter and use all Premium Fitness First Indonesia clubs.
- Platinum Passport: The member can enter and use all Fitness First Indonesia clubs.
- Dual Brand: The member can enter and use all Fitness First and Celebrity Fitness clubs in Indonesia and in certain other countries. Additional terms and conditions are specified in the separate Dual Brand addendum that the member is required to sign.
- The Lifestyle membership is for a minimum commitment period (MCP) of 12 months, excluding months in which the membership is in Freeze. If a member on a Lifestyle membership wishes to Freeze his/her membership while within his/her MCP, the months on Freeze will not count toward the MCP and the MCP will be adjusted accordingly.
- Membership is only available to those aged 14 or older. Applicants below the age of 17 require approval from a parent/guardian.
- The Premier membership is for a minimum commitment period (MCP) of 4 months and will continue automatically after the MCP of 4 months.
- The Lifestyle membership is for a minimum commitment period of 12 months and will continue automatically after the MCP of 12 months. If a member wishes to cancel his/her Lifestyle membership while within his/her MCP, a contract Cancellation Fee will be charged as determined in the Membership Agreement.
- The Flex membership does not have a minimum commitment period and continues automatically on a monthly basis.
- The Gym Only access includes Cardio, Free Weights, Pin-loaded and Freestyle areas. All group fitness classes are excluded.
- Unlimited HIIT Add-On includes the Gym Only access, as well as access via mobile app booking to HIIT group classes.
- Unlimited Mind and Body Add-On includes the Gym Only access, as well as access via mobile app booking to Mind and Body group classes.
- Unlimited Cycling Add-On includes the Gym Only access, as well as access via mobile app booking to Cycling group classes.
- Unlimited All Group Fitnes Add-On includes the Gym Only access, as well as access via mobile app booking to all group classes.
- Lump sum prepaid term membership plan is available upon request. Lump sum membership term will automatically end at the end of the minimum term unless you choose to renew it. For lump sum prepaid term memberships and other like plans, PT Fitness First Indonesia reserves the right to transfer balance prepaid term memberships to other Clubs in circumstances where the operations or services of a Home Club or Home+1 Club is temporarily or permanently suspended for any reason.
- Membership is available to individuals who have attained a minimum age of 14 years old as per personal data identification records. Written consent of the parent and/or guardian for each prospective member between the ages of 14 – 16 years (“Minor Members”) must be provided on the Membership Agreement. Fitness First is entitled to decline the membership registration If a prospective member cannot show a written consent from a parent and/or guardian
- Members and parent/guardian (for Minor Members) must sign the Membership Agreement digitally through certified electronic certificate and electronic signature providers registered with the Ministry of Communication and Digital of the Republic of Indonesia. Digitally signed agreements have full legal force and their legal effect, validity, and enforceability cannot be denied.
- Members will receive copies of digitally signed Membership Agreements via email addresses provided to Management upon acceptance.
- Fitness First warrants that for any changes to this Membersip Agreement or purchase of additional packages or classes, it will request your confirmation and your prior approval digitally in the section provided. The provisions set out in this Membership Agreement shall remain applicable to the purchase of additional packages or classes and for the other facilities provided, unless expressly stated otherwise in an amendment to the Membership Agreement.
- All Members must pay start-up fees as specified. These fees are non-refundable and must be paid immediately upon acceptance as Members. Start-up fees and all prepaid payments are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Monthly membership dues are due by the first of the month via credit card/direct debit autopay as indicated in the Billing Details section of the Membership Application. Non-use of the club does not eliminate the obligation to pay all subscriptions in a timely manner. Whether or not you use the facilities, you must still pay your monthly dues on time.
- The maximum amount that Fitness First is authorized to charge is three months’ dues. However, in the event that payment cannot be received from your credit card/direct debit, you will be contacted at the beginning of each month to make direct payment at the Club, which will incur an additional handling fee. Late payment of monthly dues will incur a late payment fee if payment is received after the 20th of the month pursuant to the provision as determined in the Membership Agreement.
- Charges that are not challenged within 14 days are not refundable.
- The Management reserves the right to cancel a membership in the event that dues are in arrears for 2 (two) consecutive months. Fitness First is entitled to take any legal action in accordance with applicable laws and regulations to recover outstanding dues from the Member.
- A member on a terminated membership will have to rejoin and pay the full initiation fees.
- The Management reserves the right to introduce and vary the prices and categories of Membership from time to time.
- Changing membership to a lower category will incur a one-time fee pursuant to the provision in the Membership Agreement. Changing membership to a higher category will not incur any charges.
- Fitness First will increase the member’s monthly dues once every 12 months. If the member has a prepaid membership, Fitness First reserves the right to increase all subsequent renewal amounts.
Replacement Fee for damaged or lost Membership card will be charged as determined
- A member may not Freeze his/her membership in the first 4 months of his/her membership.
- A Freeze Fee per month will apply. The cutoff date to request freeze is the 15th of preceding month and Freeze fee is payable in advance.
- Freeze can only start from the 1st of the month after the submitted request is approved. Documentary evidence from Members is required and no backdating is allowed.
- The minimum freeze period is not less than 3 months and not more than 12 months and may not be used in respect of the notice period of membership cancellation.
- Freezing will only be approved for genuine reasons of inability to use the club facilities. Members are not allowed to enter or use the club facilities during the freeze period.
- The approval of a membership freeze shall be the absolute right of Management, Management is entitled to reject or accept a membership freeze request.
- Written notice must be received by Fitness First Indonesia a minimum of one calendar month prior to termination and sent to the Club general manager. Failure to comply will result in one more billing cycle before termination of membership. Notice of termination has to be received prior to the end of the month for the following month to be considered the final full month of membership.
- Termination of a membership in frozen status will be subject to a full months dues billing for the notice period.
- Members can apply for termination of his/her membership by completing the cancellation form. Any upfront dues already paid are non-refundable.
- Termination of membership may not take place within the first 4 (four) months of membership.
- Upon expiry of membership, the membership card must be returned to Fitness First Indonesia.
- Fitness First staff and personal trainer are not medically qualified, so if the Member has any doubts about his/her fitness or capability to exercise, we strongly recommend that Member to get advice from a doctor first. For safety reasons, the Member is responsible for correctly using all Fitness First facilities. If the Member is not sure how to use any equipment, always ask a staff of Fitness First.
- The Member warrants and represents that he/she is in good physical condition and that he/she knows of no medical or other reason why he or she is not capable of engaging in active or passive exercise and that such exercise would not be detrimental to his/her health, safety, comfort or physical condition.
- The Member shall not use any Club facilities whilst suffering from any infections or contagious illness, disease or other aliment such as open cuts, abrasions, open sores or minor infection where there is a risk that such use may be detrimental to the health, safety, comfort or physical condition of the other Members.
- The Member and guests engage in physical exercise and use Club facilities at their own risk and are advised to seek the approval of a doctor prior to engaging in any physical activity.
Member acknowledges that there are limitations to the Company's and/or Management’s liability for the following matters:
- Member hereby acknowledges, represents and warrants that the use of facilities in the Club contains risks for Member or other Members or other people around them, whether caused by the Members themselves or by other people. Member understands and voluntarily accepts such risks. Member hereby agrees to release the Company from all types of accidents, including but not limited to personal injury, physical injury, mental injury, economic loss, death, or other losses suffered by the Member and/or other parties as a result of actions using Club facilities or actions of Club staff as long as the Club SOP has been complied with. Member agrees to be fully responsible for all responsibilities and losses arising as a result of any accident, including but not limited to, bodily or mental injury, economic loss, death, or any loss to Member caused by deliberate actions by or negligence of the Member, thereby releasing the Company and Management from all forms of claims, lawsuits and compensation in any form and from anyone without exception.
- Any guest of a Member or a temporary visitor to the Club shall agree to abide with the Club rules and the same limitation of liabilities for a Member shall apply.
The Management may terminate the Membership of any Member:
- Without notice and with immediate effect if the Member’s conduct, whether or not such conduct is the subject of complaint by other member(s) in the reasonable opinion of the Management, it may be injurious to the character or interests of the Club.
- Without notice and with immediate effect if the Member shall have committed any breach of these Terms and Conditions or of the Rules and Regulations of the Club as are from time to time in force
- If any Monthly Membership fees, locker fees or service charges remain unpaid after the due date for payment.
- Upon notice in writing, if the Company is of the opinion that the Member is not a suitable individual for continued Membership of the Club.
- In order to protect its business interests and for the safety and consideration of other Members and Fitness First staff, Management reserves the right to terminate and/or revoke your membership.
- A Member whose Membership is terminated by the Management shall forfeit at the privileges of Membership with immediate effect without claim for any refund of his/her Initial Joining Fee or Monthly Membership charges, other than any Monthly Membership charges paid in advance. On termination of his/her membership, the Member shall return forthwith his/her Membership Card and any other evidence or property of Membership provided to that Member by the Club and shall settle any outstanding debts.
- Members who is introducing Guests shall ensure that his/her Guests complete a Guest pass and pay the current Guest fee for a Guest pass.
- A Guest pass may be used only once per Club and not for multiple entries to one particular Club.
- Guests will have the same membership privileges as the Member who introduces them and who must accompany them, and will be subject to the same Club Rules and limitations of liability as the Member. It is the responsibility of the Member introducing a Guest to ensure that their Guest complies with the Club Rules.
- The Management reserves the right to exclude any Guest from the Club without giving any reason for so doing and regulate the charges levied for guest passes from time to time.
- Clean equipment with a hand towel and return fitness equipment and supplies to their proper place, and do not dominate certain equipment when the fitness centre is busy.
- Instructors are authorized to stop anyone from exercising if he/she is judged unsafe. Users must abide by the instructions of the fitness instructor.
- Conventional and/or electrical smoking and/or vaping are not permitted in any part of the Club.
- In the interest of health and hygiene, all Club users are requested to shower prior to entering the Sauna/Steam Room.
- Members or Guests are not permitted to use the facilities of the Club while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or other mood-altering substances.
The Club’s normal hours of operation are indicated at the club entrance and notice board. The Management reserves the right to adjust the hours for the purpose of cleaning, decorating, repairs or for special private functions and holidays. The Management shall endeavor to give reasonable notice of any lengthening or shortening of such hours.
All Members and guests are required to wear proper gym attire when exercising. A top is required that covers the chest area, no torn clothing items are permitted. Closed toe, non-marking, rubber soled shoes are required at all times in the gymnasium and in the aerobics room.
- Management provides adequate daily lockers for Member belongings storage during exercise. Members must not damage, deface, or soil lockers. Members must empty belongings from lockers after exercise completion and/or leaving Club.
- Shoe lockers are available and may be rented on term basis. Contact staff for complete information.
- Most lockers use RFID requiring RFID membership cards to lock and unlock. Members must bring RFID cards when visiting Club.
- Management performs daily locker maintenance by opening all daily lockers at operating hours end and shoe lockers when rental periods end. Found items are stored maximum 14 (fourteen) days. Without ownership claims in that period, Management may donate items to social institutions or destroy them. No claims, lawsuits, or compensation requests can be submitted for items stored, handed to social institutions, or destroyed due to no ownership claims after 14 days.
- Member hereby acknowledges, represents, and warrants that Member is fully responsible for storing his/her personal belongings in the lockers provided by Management, including loss or damage to personal belongings. Fitness First strongly advises the Member that the Member shall not bring any valuables items into the Club area.
- Member hereby acknowledges, represents, and understands that due to the locker area is an area with a high level of privacy, there will be no CCTV installed by Management in the locker area, therefore Member is fully responsible for the security and integrity of all items located in the locker and hereby Member waives the Management and the Company from all of claims and/or compensation in the event of loss and/or damage to Member’s items in the locker area.
- It is strictly prohibited to take pictures or record videos with any equipment in the changing rooms and other locations designated by the company. Member who is breaching this rule will be handed over to the authorities to be dealt with accordingly.
- Member and guests are not allowed to bring their own food into the Club.
- The Management may from time to time show potential Members or others around the Club and allow them to use the Club facilities on a trial basis and reserves the right to do so.
- Management entitled to move and store Members' belongings found in inappropriate places in order to maintain the security, operation and aesthetics of the Fitness First Club.
- Fitness First has full authority to change, add, and/or reduce Club facilities, with notification in any form and through any media to Members at least 30 days before the execution of any changes, reductions, and/or additions.
- Members has to verify each personal training session conducted using his/her personal password/fingerprint after each completed session
- All sessions have to be completed by the expiry date stated on the Personal Training Agreement.
- The Club reserves the right to assign a replacement trainer for a member in the event that the original trainer is unavailable.
- Scheduled personal training session cancellations must be made minimum 24 (twenty-four) hours before sessions. Sessions are deemed used if cancellations are made less than 24 hours before sessions. Non-attendance without prior notice is deemed cancellation within 24-hour period.
- All Personal Training sessions paid for in advance are non-refundable for any reason whatsoever. Remaining sessions may be transferred to another member in the Club with the approval of the Management. Members are required to complete the transfer session form.
- The Company recognises the importance of the personal data The Member have entrusted to the Management and believes that it is the management responsibility to properly manage, protect and process his/her personal data.
- The Member understand, acknowledge and consent to the Company processing, collecting and using his/her personal data for the following purposes:
- Processing, administering and managing his/her Membership Agreement and any membership benefit programs;
- Processing any transactions or payments made by the Member and to maintain payment records;
- Contacting or communicating with the Member via telephone call, text message, fax message, email and/or postal mail for the purposes of processing, administering and managing his/her Membership Agreement and any membership benefit programs;
- For publicity purposes and conducting research, analysis and development activities (including but not limited to data analytics, surveys and/or profiling) to improve the services and facilities in order to enhance the services provided to the Member, where the Member has consented for the Company to do so;
- Record-keeping purposes;
- Responding to legal process, pursuing legal rights and remedies, defending litigation and managing any complaints or claims;
- Complying with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or government request; and
- Storing, hosting and/or backing up (whether for disaster recovery or otherwise) his/her personal data, whether within or outside the Republic of Indonesia territory.
- The Member’s personal data may be used, disclosed, maintained, accessed, processed and/or transferred to the following third parties, whether in Republik of Indonesia or outside of Republic of Indonesia, for one or more of the purposes set out above:
- The Company’s head office, affiliates and subsidiaries;
- Any of the Company’s agents, contractors or third-party service providers that process or will be processing the Member’s personal data on the Company’s behalf including but not limited to those third-party service providers which have been engaged by the Company to:
- (1). to provide and maintain any IT equipment used to store and access the Member’s personal information;
- (2). to operate them;
- (3). otherwise in connection with the provision of Fitness First services to the Member;
- (4). The Company’s auditors and legal advisors;
- (5). Financial institutions, credit card companies and payment processors; and/or
- (6). Public and governmental/regulatory authorities, courts and other alternative dispute forums.

- By allowing the Company to use your personal data, you may receive administrative news, direct marketing phone calls, emails, SMS, direct mailings or other purposes, containing promotional materials. You may opt out of receiving this marketing information at any time, without any cost, by requesting in writing to Management via:
- Update your communication preferences at the Fitness First front desk.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia and subjected to the jurisdiction of Indonesia
- If there is a dispute arising from differences in interpretation of the content and/or implementation of the regulations contained herein, the Company, Management and Members will attempt to resolve it through deliberation and consensus. If the dispute cannot be resolved through the above methods, the dispute will be resolved through the Indonesian National Arbitration Board (BANI).
- Children under the age of 14 years are not allowed into the Club without the permission of Management.
- All Members and Guests are obliged to check in at reception when entering the club and check out at reception when leaving the club.
- Promoting or selling personal training sessions or other goods and services by a member to other Members is strictly prohibited and will result in the membership termination of the member in question.
- The Management reserves the right to use any individual or group photographs of Members and/or Guests for press or promotional purposes.
- All Members are required to abide by the rules, which may be changed, varied, deleted and added from time to time by the Management's policy. Members will be notified of changes to the rules via the Club noticeboards.
- The failure of the Management or the Company to enforce any of their respective rights at any time for any period shall not be construed as a waiver of such rights.
- All brandings, design, logos and Club interior follow the Fitness First’s brand manual. Any Guests or Members are not allowed to photograph or copy any Fitness First interior designs, promotional materials, tag lines or theme. The Company reserves the right to proceed with legal action to any Member and/or Guest caught distributing, sharing or supplying such contents to any third-party vendor or competitor.
- Fitness First will contact the member from time to time via phone, SMS or email to inform of promotions, benefits of membership and events and may request the member’s assistance to recommend his/her friends to join Fitness First. If the member has questions regarding this particular matter or chooses not to be contacted by Fitness First for the information on promotions, benefits of membership and/or events, please contact our staff or view our data protection policy on the website.
- Management provides this document in 2 language versions, Indonesian and English. In the event of any inconsistency between the Indonesian and English versions, the Indonesian version shall prevail and the relevant English version shall be adjusted to be consistent with the Indonesian version.
